Welcome to the Cotswold

The Cotswold is a very special and unique area situated within the Central-
Southwest England. With its picturistic towns, unmatched natural beauty and
history, the Cotswold sure has something for everyone! A short break here would
leave you wanting more, each time!

The Cotswolds covers a large area – almost 800 square miles – and runs through
five counties (Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and
Worcestershire). Each town within this region is unique and charming, having its
own charisma and charm, yet all with those defining Cotswold features: golden
stone and rolling hills.

Your journey here can be defined by exploring quintessentially English villages of honey-coloured stone; lively market towns, palaces, country houses and gorgeous castles. If you fancy just a short visit, marvel at the natural world in acclaimed reserves and at some of the most famous arboretas in Britain; walk through breathtaking landscapes along historic trails.

There’s a vibrant buzz in places like Cheltenham, Cirencester, Tewkesbury, Stroud and Witney and a sense of calm at Moreton in Marsh, Bourton on the water, Castle Combe and Pains-Wick. There are various exciting things to do, weather you are traveling with family, young kids, as a couple or with a group of friends! There are many events that take place all around the year and something to catch each time you visit.

The Cotswolds is also richly rural: more than 3,000 miles of footpaths and
bridleways to explore; ancient woodlands and wildflower meadows; 4,000 miles of
historic Cotswold stone walls dividing up the landscape.

This landscape provides a rich harvest of drinks and dining, with a local flare. The old rustic pubs, fine dining restaurants and cafe’s with breathtaking views are not to
be missed. You would also find some of the best garden centers, in England.
The accommodation is just as wide ranging as dining, with finest country homes, chic boutique hotels, snug spa breaks, cosy Bed and Breakfast or camping at a
local sight.

You could also opt for renting a place of your own, those gorgeous
cottages would leave you just amazed!

From fabulous landscaping, to amazing accommodations, dining, events, things to
do and places to visit, oh we could go on and on but why not come experience this
yourself?
